July came with many adventures on the rodeo trail!

I started off the month of July at Lammles for an exciting kickoff event! We had a blast visiting with everyone gearing up for stampede week and partaking in some radio interviews. I then had the absolute privilege of attending the La Due Ladies Luncheon, where I was so honored to receive a scholarship for my educational endeavors. I am so grateful for their support and encouragement for women in agriculture. I then connected with all of the visiting royalty for the week at the gorgeous new Smithbilt hats building, even some of our American rodeo queens came down to visit! We had a blast throughout Stampede week with square dancing, pancake breakfasts, the parade, and the incredible Giddy-Up Grits breakfast tailored to children with disabilities. Following my time in Calgary for Stampede, I made a trip to the Manor Village at Huntington Hills to visit with the seniors for rodeo day!

My gorgeous Ram 1500 “Goose” from Innisfail Chrysler, then took me up north to the peace country where I got to be a part of, “4 days in the wild” in Tee Pee Creek! We kicked off the weekend with Family Day activities with the kids. After meeting the Miss Tee Pee Creek contestants throughout the rodeo, we crowned the new queen Breanna Armstrong! I was so honored to be a part of their crowning day, as it was incredibly moving. Congratulations to the outgoing queen Ria Mulligan for a very successful reign. After a visit to Sorkenville to tour the old buildings and history, I was on the road home again!

I then packed for an incredible journey to the “Daddy of ‘em all”! I had so much fun taking part in the royalty brunch, the prestigious fly-by, mini horse racing, sponsor visits and so much more. I was so thrilled to be reunited with my American sister, Miss Rodeo America, Emma Cameron! Thank you so much to Caitlyn and Haylie, our Cheyenne Frontier Days royalty for welcoming all of us into their home arena!

After returning home, I made my way to Medicine Hat where we had an incredible group of our Canadian queens present for visiting royalty! We had a blast taking on the night show, pancake breakfasts, the parade, kiddies day, and of course the incredible Canadian Professional Rodeo Association rodeo performance. After Medicine hat I returned north to Canada’s Oldest One Day Pro rodeo, the Bruce Stampede! I had a blast with the committee and the crowd as we crowned champions the same day!

My last day in July was the Zeke Thurston Invitational Bronc Match! This was an incredible event that I had the honor of singing the national anthem at. I also was so thrilled to partner with Lammles for some giveaways!

I am really looking forward to what else is in store for the remaining couple of months for Canadian Rodeo, as we are coming to a close so fast! Applications for Miss Rodeo Canada 2025 have officially closed, and I am so excited to announce our competitors that will be taking the stage this year!

With my whole heart,

Miss Rodeo Canada 2024
